Contact NHR About Housing Issues

You may have housing issues while living in the housing provided by DYB. Please follow the below procedure to resolve the problem. 

1. Refer to the “Housing Problems” guide (see below) to see if the issue can be resolved on your own first.

2. Email dybhousing@gmail.com to notify them of your housing issue. 

The subject of your email needs to be labelled as indicated below. If it is not labelled correctly, the housing problem may not be dealt with quickly.

Subject: Apartment Name (in Korean) Room Number - Problem

For example: 대청타워 1234호 – Leaking Aircon

In your email to DYB Housing, include as much information about the problem as possible. The more information you provide, the quicker and easier it is to resolve the problem. 

Possible information to include: Name of the appliance, make of the appliance, model of the appliance, pictures of the issue / damage, videos of the issue, apartment door code (if you are happy for the housing manager to enter your apartment while you are at work), any other helpful information. 

3. NHR will summarize your issue in Korean and forward your email to the housing manager. 

4. NHR will inform you when the housing manager will be able to visit your apartment to assess the issue and fix the problem on the spot, if possible. 

5. The housing manager will contact the landlord to arrange for repairs or replacements, if necessary. 

6. A repairman will be sent to your housing at an agreed upon time. If you are home, you can let the repairman in. If you are at work, the housing manager will accompany the repairman to your house and let them in. The housing manager is an employee of DYB.
